I'm Nick, but my friends call me Tip. I'm married and live in Charlotte, NC with my wife and two daughters. For the past twelve years I've been working in various roles in technology across several industries; project manager, implementation consultant, process analyst, scrum master, product owner, agile coach, product coach, and transformation coaching.

As a result of my unique career path, I've experienced a lot of interesting people, scenarios, and cultures. So rather than keep my wild experiences to myself, I thought it would be a great time to deeply explore myself, inspect my experiences and see how some of the most timeless stories that have been around for hundreds of years still apply today.

Each week, we'll unpack a different tale from Aesop's Fables. I'll share my thoughts on how they've applied in my real life experiences, and how I continue to apply (and occasionally forget to apply) the moral of the story. Continue the discussion with me and share your own stories.

The powerful nature of fables is such that they’re written in a way that we see ourselves in the characters from the stories.  When we’re honest with ourselves, we oftentimes find ourselves relating to all of the characters, not just one, by using perspective and personal, real stories granting us this fluidity.  
 

 

This series is targeted for folks who, like myself, have found their normal lives disrupted over the past few years and discovering the world is a much bigger and more connected place than ever. This new territory comes with opportunities, but also uncertainty and even danger at every turn.
